Rockport

Rockport is situated at the tip of the Cape Ann peninsula, making it a serene coastal town. The town boasts of miles of calm and pristine beaches and fishermen's shacks that have now become tourists’ hotspots. Then there is the Thacher’s Island which is just off the Rockport coast and has twin lighthouses. Adding more to the charm is the active art scene which is promoted by Rockport Music Center and Rockport Art Association. 

This rustic town by the sea is ideal for fishing and spending some quality time with family and kids. Halibut Point State Park offers various trails to explore nature other than the conventional beach route, which is an obvious choice for everyone. Rockport also has a well-preserved history from the time of the Labor Movement in Rockport Quarries, especially in the Pigeon Cove area. Further, when in the town, one cannot miss a visit to the Bearskin Neck, which is one of the coolest places to explore with its quirky shops, art galleries, and mouth-watering local food.
