Located in Cougar Mountain Regional Wildlife Park, Coal Creek Falls can be reached either by walking or hiking through a maze of trails. This location is a suitable place for hikers of all levels and also boasts several family-friendly trails.
The trails are well-maintained and are set in a picturesque location where hikers can traverse through the thick canopy of cedar and maple trees. Along with the trees, there’s also dense vegetation of ferns, salmonberry, and various other species of wildberry that bloom, especially in spring. The trail is 2.5 miles out-and-back and the waterfalls are around 28 feet that work through runoff and look the absolute best during winter and rainy months.
