Kundadari, Shimoga (Shivamogga) Overview

Situated about 12 km from Thirthahalli, Kundadri is a hillock known for the Jain Temple perched at the top of it. Blessed with bounteous natural beauty and an amazing view of the mountains in the backdrop, the place is a trekker’s haven and a paradise for nature lovers.

Boasting of dense jungles of the Western Ghats, Kundadri is visited by a lot of tourists and pilgrims who come here to admire the surreal natural beauty and to pay respect to the presiding deity of the Jain temple - Parshawanatha. In addition to that, there are also two small ponds formed next to the temple on the rock which is a pretty sight to behold.
