The Church of San Domenico is a Gothic-style basilica located on a hill overlooking the historic center of Siena, Italy. Built in the 13th century, it is renowned for housing the relics of St. Catherine of Siena, including her head and thumb. The church’s vast, simple interior contrasts with its sacred art and offers stunning views of the city from its surrounding area.

In the left wall of the nave can be found a painting of Madonna with Child by Francesco di Vannuccio. This painting is framed by an eternal with Saint by Il Sodoma. In the right wall of the nave is a painting of the Virgin by Stefao Volpi, another painting called the Nativity of the Virgin by Alessandro Casolani can also be found here.
