Safety Tips
The areas between the Red and Yellow Flags are constantly supervised by the Beach Patrol Officers, and thus, it is advisable to only swim in this area.
Do not leave children alone at any time.
Protect yourself from the sea bed that keeps on changing and moving because of the underwater current and tidal movements.
When entering the water, do it slowly, and shuffle the feet, so that the marine creatures can move away. If you see any poisonous marine creatures, try and swim away from them, since they might sting and poison you.
Stay away from the rock bund areas, since these could potentially harm you, because of the algae and seashells that grow on these rocks. If you try to climb them, you might slip or get injured.
In case of an emergency, simply raise your hand and shout for help. Do not panic. If you see someone else in a similar situation, pass them a lifebuoy and inform the Patrol Officers.
