The Yemenite Quarter or Kerem HaTeimanim is a well-known neighbourhood in Tel Aviv situated between Shuk Hacarmel, Allenby and Neve Tsedek. It is famous for its old-time charm and has several run-down narrow streets and small houses covered in vines. This neighbourhood is the best in the city to try out authentic Yemenite Jewish food.
Some of the most popular eateries here include Erez, Shimon the King of Soups and Cooking, Shlomo and Doron, Yom Tov Cafe etc. There are a few bars that serve different Israeli brews here like Beer Bazaar and Norman Bar.
