Museo de la Naturaleza y el Hombre holds in store many important artefacts related to the history of Canary islands. Located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, it also contains many mummies from around the world.
It has a large collection of tools and carvings from the times when the Spanish were not even settled here.This is a very nice mixture of natural science along with archaeology and it is one of the best museums in the Canary Islands. It houses numerous significant archaeological finds and can also be considered as the best repository of objects from the Prehispanic Canary islands, There are also other collections of paleontological, botanical, entomological and marine items. It holds the largest collection on the culture of Guanche and has the latest methods of presentation of mummies.
