Uzungol

Uzungol is a beautiful, picturesque place known for its natural lake and stunning views. It is about a ninety-minute drive away from Trabzon. It is popular among families for activities like paragliding, shopping, and exploring the children’s play areas around the lake.

The lake is situated between lush green valleys, and the prayers from the mosques echo throughout the area at prayer times. The mosque's minarets add a heavenly look to the scenic view of the valley. One of the mosques, called Kible Dago Camii, is built on top of the Kible mountain and is a must-visit as it was built because of Erdogan. Other striking sightseeing places include the Uzungol Swing, which offers a breathtaking view of Uzungol and is excellent for taking panoramic pictures. The steps from the main street at the lake lead up to Uzungol Viewpoint, which is another perfect destination to capture the best of this place. The epic Turkish breakfast with their traditional Kuymak cheese is a must-have experience in Uzungol. Outside the lake, shops, games, and cafes make it a proper holiday destination.
