Zermatt Matterhorn Viewpoint

The Zermatt Matterhorn Viewpoint is situated on the Switzerland-Italy border. The magnificent vertical pyramid of Matterhorn is the sixth-highest mountain in Alpes, Europe. Some activities tourists can engage in and find enjoyable are skiing, snowboarding and hiking.

This mountain involves 4000 feet of ascending and takes 6 hours up and 5 hours to descend. On some parts of the mountain, there are some fixed ropes. This mountain is famous for its almost precise pyramid form. It is a four-sided rocky peak which mounts 4,478 metres above sea level. Apart from these adventure-oriented activities, this spot is admired because of the spectacular scenery it offers thus making it a renowned point for photography.  It is one of the best tourist spots not just for adventurers but for nature lovers too. This mountain can be visited anytime during the year, however, the ideal time to visit would be July to mid-September. One can reach the viewpoint by taking cable cars from Zermatt
