Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Hanoi Arrival
  • Warm welcome upon arrival at Hanoi Airport.
  • Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
  • Free time to explore the city at your leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Hanoi.
  • 07:30 – 08:00: Depart from Hanoi for a scenic 3-hour drive to Halong Bay.
  • 12:00 – 12:30: Arrive at Tuan Chau Tourist Wharf and transfer to the cruise by tender.
  • 12:30: Enjoy a welcome drink and check-in to your private cabin.
  • 13:15 – 14:15: Savor a delicious lunch while cruising through the stunning Halong Bay.
  • 14:45 – 15:00: Visit Titop Island for swimming, sunbathing, or trekking.
  • 16:30: Explore the Pearl Farm Village and enjoy kayaking in the bay.
  • 17:30: Return to the cruise for a cooking class on traditional Vietnamese dishes, followed by tea time on the sundeck.
  • Overnight stay on the cruise.
  • 06:00: Start the day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck.
  • 07:00 – 07:30: Light breakfast while cruising to explore more of Halong Bay.

Jenny from LVP travel was horrible! She only cared about saving money at the expense of others. She cancelled the person meeting me at the airport, and gave the wrong location for meeting the driver. (Read More)She placed me on a bus rather than a train, arriving at 3:15 am instead of 7 am, with no one to meet me. She did not want to provide the tour agent with money for the promised excursions, making her cry. She placed the wrong name on a day tour, almost making me miss the activities that day. She was an absolute nightmare!

Booked with LVP from Ireland a little apprehensively despite their good online reviews as we were taking a lot on trust with our big family holiday. We needn't have worried- they never missed a beat. (Read More)All connections were seamless, guides were excellent, accommodation arrangements were great, in short could not fault them. Someone checked in with us every few days from HQ to ensure all was going ok. Well worth going direct to a local company for your Vietnam/Cambodia travel needs, highly recommend.
