Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar
  • Upon arrival at Srinagar airport, you will be greeted by our representative, who will assist and transfer you to your hotel.
  • Sightseeing Tour: Visit world-famous Mughal gardens, including Shalimar, Nishat, Tulip Gardens (Asia’s biggest tulip garden), Botanical Gardens, Chashmeshahi, Parimahal, and the famous Hazratbal Shrine.
  • Location: All gardens are situated on the banks of Dal Lake, with the Zabarwan Hills in the background.
  • Meals: Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After Breakfast: Proceed to Pahalgam, known as "The Valley of Shepherds."
  • En-route: Visit saffron fields in Pampore, Awantipura Ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu), and enjoy the beautiful countryside.
  • In Pahalgam: Walk along pony trails, enjoy the Lidder Stream, and take in the magnificent view of the mountains.
  • Evening: Return to Srinagar.
  • Meals: Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, proceed on a day excursion to Sonamarg, known as the "Golden Meadow."
  • Highlights: Explore the Sind Valley, surrounded by mountains and streamed with flowers—optional horse riding to Thajiwas Glacier and sled riding on snow (on direct payment).
  • Evening: Return to Srinagar.
  • Meals: Dinner and overnight stay on the houseboat.

Other Details

  • SIM Cards: Pre-paid SIM cards do not work in J&K due to security reasons; post-paid connections are required.
  • Pithu/Palki/Pony Services in Katra: Municipal Committee Katra has fixed rates displayed on the rate card outside their booking office at Banganga. Bargain if overcharged.
  • Houseboat Stay in Srinagar: Shikara rides are complimentary; do not pay for them.
  • Pony Ride in Gulmarg/Pahalgam: Not mandatory to take ponies to visit important tourist spots; most are in close proximity. If opting for pony rides/sledging/rafting, rates are highly negotiable.
  • Sightseeing in Pahalgam: Aru Valley, Beetab Valley, and Chandanwari can only be accessed by local taxi union vehicles. Rates are negotiable and must be paid directly.
  • Shopping: Recommended items include dry fruits, Rajma, Basmati rice, handicrafts, woolens, carpets, saffron, and cricket bats. Best places: Lal Chowk and Boulevard in Srinagar.
  • Kashmiri Wazwan Food: Best place is Aadhoos at Lal Chowk in Srinagar; Mutton Kebab at Gee Enn Bakers, Residency Road.
  • Vegetarian Food in Srinagar: Krishna Dhaba is highly recommended.

From July 1st to 10th we are on Amarnath and Vaishnavi Devi yatra. We have wonderful experience with our Travel agent Poise travels. Though we have changed our plan twice or thrice they have planned (Read More) our trip very well. After completing our Amarnath darshan we went to Vaishno Devi and they have arranged excellent hotels and good travel arrangements. All the hotels they have provided are excellent neat and they have served good food. We have faced some problems due to land slide on the Srinagar to Jammu highway. They have guided us time to time and they are extended all the support. We were very happy and suggest our friends and relatives to plan their trips with this travel agency.

The arrangement of the hotel was bad, the arrangement of the hotel was also done in a very bad way, there was no proper arrangement of heater and it seemed very useless, our experience was very useles (Read More)s, the arrangement was not according to what was said in the message.
