Worst experience not expected from SOTC. we had book Kashmir tour in month of April 2024. Being from Dubai, and since me and my son wanted to experience the snow, we planned for SOTC. We got call (Read More) from Savio from Mumbai. we asked specifically for gondola ride in Gulmarg. Savio assured tickets are available and insisted on paying the tour amount. we asked for the tour confirmation and gondola ticket, he promised it will be mailed soon. Savio insisted on booking the flight ticket. Can't imagine a mail from SOTC saying gondola tickets not available, and they will give us refund or alternate place. this mail is sent on 10th April and our international flight is on 11th April. Spoke to Savia who again assured that agents are trying for tickets. We had no option but to continue our trip as our holidays were taken from office, packing done etc. Also even if we cancel the tour our flight cancellation was a big loss to us. on 16th, at Gulmarg, from the whole group of 26 tourist, we were only 2 who were sitting outside the gondola ride office. Such a worst and sad experience. My husband called from Dubai and spoke to Savio how we are facing such situation there. But Savio lied to him that whole group didn't get the ticket. its being a month and still cannot forget how we were sitting there will fully prepared the take the ride. the weather was so perfect whole group went for snow experience and we sitting there. best part, we were made to wear the extra jackets and boots by paying money from our side. after 3 weeks we got refund for the gondola ticket, after the reminder mail. still didn't get the refund for the extra money we had to pay for costume, which Savio mailed , will not be refunded as its not from SOTC. The money lost is not a big loss. The bad memories we had is very saddening. no more SOTC for us. The tour was combined both SOTC and Thomas Cook. For us, we trusted SOTC and booked. Such a big cheating.

SOTC/THOMAS COOK Europe tour Review It's a Good trip. But the tour manager is not so cooperative in terms of guiding you around if you want to explore by yourself. He just scares you. You can travel (Read More) on your own if required, the taxi services are normal and easily available through online services, we tried late night exploring Paris and Switzerland. Cheese and shoe factory is a gimmick, just don't go there, instead try a beach nearby which is free. Prefer going to Paris city tour first and then the Eiffel Tower to enjoy the night view. Wrong information is given that the lighting starts after 9pm , it is lighted by 7pm. Later the tour manager will charge extra to see the night view. If any option/view point is cancelled, a very cheap alternative is provided or cancelled , and in our case the tour manager didn't even inform . If you haven't been to Disneyland before, please wait for the night lighting show, you can easily get cabs in night to comeback to hotel and no high charges are levied as shared by tour manager. In Germany the church is average instead there are other points during the city tour which are better spending time at. So if you are left at the church for more time just go ahead with the city tour n spend time there. Italy is lot of walking so Carry your comfortable shoes. If you are an Indian looking for veg food options, that issue is easily resolved as the food services provided are good. You don't need lot of luggage. Ensure you have limited items as you are packing unpacking almost every day Hotels are average but decent. Please read your itinerary and explore better options to explore wehn you have a day off , instead of going to what is shared by them. Mount Titlis and Mount Jungfraujoch are almost the same, try visiting Interlaken via train to enjoy the scenic beauty. Overall it's a little hectic trip as we covered 6 countries in 13 days. Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Paris, Germany.

It's a fraud company, I deposited Rs.1.5 Lakh on 19.2.2022 for Europe tour of my wife & daughter, ultimately tour cancelled (daughter could not get UK visa), sotc should have refunded the balance amo (Read More)unt after deducting the visa application fee etc. SOTC promised that about Rs.90 thousands will be refunded but till 10.11.2022 nothing refunded & now they are not replying to e-mail also. I would suggest Thomas cook, it's a good reliable tour operator.
