SOTC/THOMAS COOK Europe tour Review
It's a Good trip. But the tour manager is not so cooperative in terms of guiding you around if you want to explore by yourself. He just scares you.
You can travel (Read More) on your own if required, the taxi services are normal and easily available through online services, we tried late night exploring Paris and Switzerland.
Cheese and shoe factory is a gimmick, just don't go there, instead try a beach nearby which is free.
Prefer going to Paris city tour first and then the Eiffel Tower to enjoy the night view. Wrong information is given that the lighting starts after 9pm , it is lighted by 7pm. Later the tour manager will charge extra to see the night view.
If any option/view point is cancelled, a very cheap alternative is provided or cancelled , and in our case the tour manager didn't even inform .
If you haven't been to Disneyland before, please wait for the night lighting show, you can easily get cabs in night to comeback to hotel and no high charges are levied as shared by tour manager.
In Germany the church is average instead there are other points during the city tour which are better spending time at. So if you are left at the church for more time just go ahead with the city tour n spend time there.
Italy is lot of walking so Carry your comfortable shoes.
If you are an Indian looking for veg food options, that issue is easily resolved as the food services provided are good.
You don't need lot of luggage. Ensure you have limited items as you are packing unpacking almost every day
Hotels are average but decent.
Please read your itinerary and explore better options to explore wehn you have a day off , instead of going to what is shared by them. Mount Titlis and Mount Jungfraujoch are almost the same, try visiting Interlaken via train to enjoy the scenic beauty.
Overall it's a little hectic trip as we covered 6 countries in 13 days. Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Paris, Germany.
