Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar

Morning:

  • Arrive at Srinagar International Airport.
  • Meet your driver and transfer to your hotel or houseboat on Dal Lake.
  • Welcome drink upon arrival.

Afternoon:

  • Enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Explore the floating gardens and traditional houseboats.
  • Visit the Mughal Gardens: Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh. Take in the beautiful views and landscaping.

Evening:

  • Return to your accommodation for dinner.
  • Optional: Stroll around the local markets, such as Lal Chowk, to shop for handicrafts and Pashmina shawls.

Morning:

  • After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (about 1.5-2 hours).
  • On arrival, enjoy the stunning landscapes and explore the meadows.

Afternoon:

  • Take the Gondola ride (Apharwat) for panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks.
  • Enjoy activities such as trekking or, in winter, skiing (optional).

Evening:

  • Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
