Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Cochin to Munnar

Morning pickup from Cochin (Kochi) by private car.
Drive to Munnar (approximately 4-5 hours).
En route, stop at viewpoints to admire the scenic beauty of tea plantations, waterfalls, and lush greenery.
Arrive in Munnar and check-in at your hotel or resort.
Relax and freshen up.
In the afternoon, visit the Tea Museum to learn about the history and production of tea in the region.
Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the tea gardens.
Return to the hotel and enjoy dinner.
Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 2 Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, start your sightseeing tour of Munnar.
Visit Mattupetty Dam and enjoy boating in the reservoir surrounded by hills and forests.
Explore the beautiful Kundala Lake and take a scenic walk around the area.
Visit the Echo Point where you can hear your voice reverberate across the hills.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit the Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park, famous for its endangered Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goat) and lush greenery.
Explore the Anamudi Peak, the highest peak in South India (if time permits).
Return to the hotel in the evening.

Day 3 Munnar to Thekkady

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
Travel from Munnar to Thekkady. (Approx. 90 kilometers, 3-hour drive)
Check-in to your hotel in Thekkady.

Visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary for a boat safari.
Explore the spice plantations.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 4 Thekkady to Alleppey

Travel from Thekkady to Alleppey. (Approx. 140 kilometers, 4-hour drive)

I went for a 7 days trip with Best of Globe and visited Madurai, Trichy, Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari and Thiruvananthapuram.
