Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Gangtok

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir, nearly 40 km and a 2-hour drive. Situated at an elevation of 3,753 m / 12,310 ft, the lake is oval-shaped and nearly 50 ft deep, generally covered in snow for most of the year. It is home to Brahmini ducks and many migratory birds. Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir, known to be a very holy site for all. Transfer back to Gangtok for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Full Day) With Nathula Pass

After breakfast, transfer for local sightseeing, covering Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Jhakri Water Falls, Burtuk Falls, Ranka Monastery, the Research Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays & government holidays), Do-Drul Chorten, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (closed on Sundays & government holidays), Nam Nang View Point (Ropeway on direct payment basis), and the Flower Show. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Gangtok Local Sightseeing

Day 4: Gangtok to Darjeeling Transfers

This morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel in Gangtok and transfer to Darjeeling (7,100 ft / 115 km / 4½ hrs). Upon arrival in Darjeeling, check in at the hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Early morning at 4:00 AM, visit Tiger Hill, famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga. On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, and then return to the hotel. After breakfast, proceed to visit various points of interest, covering The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sundays), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway, Japanese Temple, Ava Art Gallery, and Peace Pagoda. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Departure

This morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel in Darjeeling and proceed towards the Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (110 km / 3 hrs) for your onward journey. The tour ends, but the memories remain.
