Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok

On arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra International Airport, meet our representative and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft). Check-in to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast, head out for an excursion to the sacred Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and then to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft). Return to Gangtok by evening.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Note:

Documents for Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir: 2 passport-size photos and photocopy of a valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID). PAN & Aadhaar cards are not accepted.
For minors below 18 years: Carry a Birth Certificate / School or College ID.
Originals must be carried while travelling.
If Tsomgo Lake is inaccessible due to landslides or weather, alternate sightseeing will be arranged.

Day 3 Gangtok – Lachung

After breakfast, check out with limited luggage and drive to Lachung (8,738 ft). En route, stop at scenic spots like Naga Waterfall, the Confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang, and Bhim Nala Waterfall.
Check-in at the hotel in Lachung. Dinner and overnight stay in Lachung.

Note:

Documents required are the same as Day 2.
Travel to North Sikkim is not recommended by Innova Crysta due to rough road conditions.

Day 4 Lachung – Yumthang Valley – Gangtok

Early morning, visit Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft), also known as the Valley of Flowers. En route back, stop by the natural Hot Spring, believed to have medicinal properties.
Return to Lachung for lunch, then drive back to Gangtok via Singhik View Point for a possible view of Mt. Khangchendzonga (weather permitting). Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 5 Gangtok – Darjeeling

After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling (6,950 ft). Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 6 Darjeeling Full-Day Sightseeing with Tiger Hill

Start early at 4:00 AM to visit Tiger Hill (subject to availability of permit/token) for a stunning sunrise view. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
By 8:30 AM, begin sightseeing covering: Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Darjeeling Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (closed on Sundays), Outer view of a Tea Garden, Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda. Evening at leisure for shopping. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 7 Darjeeling - NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.

As this was my first trip, by booking a package through any travel agency, initially I was little apprehensive what kind of hotels, food and services I would get. Would it be of full value for money e (Read More)tc. etc.? We started our trip from Srinagar Airport, where Mr. Rashid, the driver, was already waiting for us with vehicle. He was of great help throughout the tour. Showed us various local sights with great interest. In the evening we reached Hotel Mountview, Pahalgam. Location of Hotel and surrounding area was just awesome and to our surprise the room and outside view from the room was beautiful. It was very neat and clean room. Hotel Staff was nice, though the food was not as good as per our liking. Next day after local sightseeing in Pahalgam, we left for Srinagar and reached Hotel Four Seasons by the evening. Three night stay at this hotel was the best thing of our tour package. Everything at this hotel was perfect, be it food, hotel staff, room etc. As and when we visit Srinagar, we would definitely like to have our stay at this Hotel in future also. We went for local sightseeing in Srinagar, Gulmerg and Sonmerg. The itinerary of the package was very comfortable and was beyond our expectations. We had full time in our hand to enjoy the sightseeing. Last night of our tour was at Houseboat. We were not so happy at houseboat because we were missing the hospitality given to us by Hotel Four Seasons. Home made Food was really good at this Houseboat. I am thankful to Ms. Pallavi, owner of OM APEX TOURS AND TRAVELS who gave us such a nice package. Her suggestions were of great benefit and help to us. We would definitely like to have another tour package with OM APEX TOURS AND TRAVELS.
