Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Prayagraj

Welcome to Kumbh Mela. On arrival in Prayagraj, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to our comfortable camp. After check-in and freshening up, you can explore nearby attractions depending on your arrival time. Early arrivals can visit the iconic Bade Hanuman Temple, witness the sacred Akshayvat tree, and participate in the soulful Ganga Aarti. Dinner will be served at the camp, and you'll enjoy an overnight stay, immersed in the spiritual ambiance of Kumbh Mela.

Day 2 Holy Dip & Kumbh Mela Exploration

In the early morning, take a sacred holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the invisible Saraswati rivers, for a spiritually uplifting experience. After your ritual bath, return to the camp and enjoy a hearty breakfast. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the vibrant and spiritual atmosphere of the Kumbh Mela.

In the evening, visit the renowned Akharas to witness the unique camps of the Naga Sadhus and engage in meaningful interactions to gain deeper insights into their spiritual practices, traditions, and way of life. Return to the camp for dinner, followed by an overnight stay. (Sightseeing by walking on your own.)

Day 3 Departure from Prayagraj

After a delightful breakfast in the morning, check out from the camp and bid farewell to the Kumbh Mela. You will be transferred to Prayagraj Railway Station or Airport for your onward journey, carrying with you the cherished memories of this sacred experience.

Important Dates (Shahi Snan Dates) for Prayagraj Mahakumbh Mela 2025
The following are the crucial dates for Kumbh Mela 2025:

Paush Purnima: 13th January 2025 (Festival starting date)
Makar Sankranti: 14th January 2025
Mauni Amavasya: 29th January 2025
Basant Panchami: 3rd February 2025
Maghi Purnima: 12th February 2025
Maha Shivratri: 26th February 2025 (Festival ending date)

Important Notes
During the Shahi Snan dates, there will be restrictions. There is a NO VEHICLE ZONE on Shahi Snan dates in the entire Mela area.
On peak bathing dates, it is mandatory to book a minimum 3-night or 4-night package due to traffic restrictions (i.e., 2 days before and 1 day after the Snan day).
It is mandatory for guests to arrive in Prayagraj two days prior to the Shahi Snan dates. For example, if the Shahi Snan date is January 14, guests should reach Prayagraj by January 12.
Guests may also opt for non-Shahi Snan days. The charges for non-Shahi Snan days are comparatively lower.
Camps are situated 500 meters to 2 kilometers from Triveni Sangam at Arail Ghat.

This one was our First Trip with Namaste India. We started communicating with Shanthiji about this trip about six months ago and she was extremely helpful and supportive. We were travailing from the U (Read More)SA with two children, she setup our itinerary very nicely and efficiently. All Accommodations, Transportations and Serivices were awesome. Namaste India Representative Rahul, Harsh, Ramesh, Manoj and Shanthiji were available 24 X 7 and keep checking on us. Special Note: On the last night at Delhi a Namaste India Representative visited us at the Hotel (I really Forgot his name). While I was talking with him in the lobby, my wife came and told me to buy some medicines for my son who was feeling sick and throwing up. A representative immediately took it to up to himself and brought Medicines. The Namaste India representative! went above and beyond, especially in a stressful situation like that. Thank you! I am pretty sure many more trips to go with them.

Visiting Bharat after more 6-7 year, heard about all the changes, progress ,development and Delhi pollution. We had a totally different expectation from our Trip. Booking our vacation thru Namaste tra (Read More)vels, having 24- 7 Assistance of Shantiji before booking vacation and also after booking vacation. Shantiji was always guiding, suggesting and proactively listening to our suggestions. After all the discussion and changes we finally arrived at Delhi Airport. Since our Arrival to Departure we never felt alone, we were constantly in touch with Manojbhai, Shantiji and Rahulji. Always inquiring about our well being and if we need anything . Hotels were excellent, our favorite part was breakfast time. As such due to jet lag we used to get up very hungry. Can’t wait to plan for our next trip with Namaste travels!!!
