The trip was OK but you shouldn't expect too much. You drive up the river for an hour, past Wat Arun and the Royal Palace. I had the idea that you would see the life of the locals on the river. Unfort (Read More)unately, that wasn't the case. You then drive back the same way.

The boat was, unlike what the pictures suggest, not a classic longboat with a truck engine, but a large tourist boat with four seats in a row... The tour guide was practically impossible to understand (Read More) because of the engine noise... The route went briefly along the main river and then up and down a large canal past the Barge Museum... Not really bad, but not necessarily recommendable either.
