This was the best cooking experience in Bangkok! May was our guide and chef . She was very patient, funny , and knowledgeable. She accommodated for people’s tastes and allergies. Highly recommend this (Read More) activity!!

The market was garbage. She took us to a small shop, didn’t explain anything, then we left. No fresh produce, no information, it was terrible. Menu was good. And the building was clean and tidy. Staff (Read More) were nice enough. Class ended and we had to find our own way back to the start since they took us in vans for some of the trip. Very weird. Waste of money. I’ve done about 6 of these types of tours in Bangkok over the years and this was by far the worst one.

The cooking class was fun. We made the red curry and it was the tastiest we’ve had so far. The other dishes were super tasty as well. However, you did not make everything yourself, several steps are p (Read More)repared by the staff (e.g. the sticky rice). You’re stir frying your own portion so you can decide the spiciness. But for some dishes the ingredients are prepared by everyone and then thrown together, so other people touch your food which I’m personally not a huge fan of.

Jay took the time to explain to us the origin of the foods used in Thai cooking. It was amazing! All the dishes were delicious and fun to prepare.
