Know before you go

Due to the popularity of the Eiffel Tower, you may experience delays at security checks or in ticket lines. In peak months (April to October), on school holidays and weekends, please expect a minimum of 30 minutes waiting time for security and 45 minutes to buy your ticket. In low season (November to March), expect a minimum of 15 minutes for security and 30 minutes at the ticket desk For operational reasons, capacity control, or weather, the summit may not be accessible. When this occurs, even if it reopens during your tour, the price of the summit access will be refunded within 8-10 days Please note that during busy periods, there may be a wait to access the ticket desk, as well as to clear the security and stairs lines. If there is a wait, your guide will use this time to share engaging stories and historical insights about the Tower’s creation. This comprehensive tour typically lasts around 2 hours, but wait times for security checks can sometimes extend the tour duration.
