We met Monica at Serangoon MRT and hopped on a local bus to look for hidden treasures in that area. We had a lovely 3 hours walking around markets, learning about local life, ordering tea the local wa (Read More)y and looking in shops I asked to see. A really nice way to leave the tourists areas and learn what its like to live in Singapore as a local. I highly recommend this trip.

Our guide Monica was full of knowledge and a beautiful person. We learnt a lot about life in Singapore and got to join a game of bowls with a group of seniors in a park. People we met were so happy an (Read More)d friendly. This is certainly worth doing if you want to get away from all the tourists for a couple of hours, and experience what life is like in Singapore. Tea at a local coffee shop and visits to 2 temples plus lots more.
