Discover Singapore by getting to know its famous Civic District. Begin your journey at Kampong Glam, an area where modernity meets tradition. This district has a history that dates back to Singapore’s colonial era as the allocated area to the Malay, Arab, and Bugis communities. Explore the city by driving around the Civic District, passing by the Padang, Singapore Cricket Club, historic Parliament House, and the National Gallery Singapore. The Gallery consists of the former Supreme Court Building and the City Hall. Next, stop at Merlion Park and enjoy the impressive views of Marina Bay. Do not miss out this picture-taking opportunity with The Merlion, a mythological creature that is part lion and part fish. Visit Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of Singapore’s oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples, before driving past Chinatown. Proceed to Singapore’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Singapore Botanic Gardens, and walk through the National Orchid Garden which boasts a sprawling display of 60,000 orchid plants.

This was an excellent tour. It provided a great overview. The stops were all good, not rushed at all. Pick up was prompt and the guide pleasant and knowledge. Amazing deal for this price. A small step (Read More) to assist in navigating the last bus step would be appreciated.

The tour itself was good, but not surprising. The guide spoke too quickly and in a dialect-like manner, and she didn't respond to our request to speak a little more slowly. But the transfer was the ab (Read More)solute worst - we were on the road for over 1.5 hours before the tour even started. We had chosen a hotel as the pick-up point that was close to ours, then we received a message saying that the tour had been moved forward 30 minutes (8:00 a.m. yeahh), we wrote back and said which hotel we were in and when we asked if we could be picked up from the hotel we got a clear no. And the icing on the cake was - after we had walked 40 minutes (there was no MRT connection there) to the meeting point - the bus drove straight to our hotel and picked up 4 guests there. Thanks for nothing!
