It's often challenging to find a reliable travel agency in Africa for a Safari trip when you're based in the USA. Fortunately, I came across Africa Flash in 2017 for our first Safari tour, and it was (Read More)a fantastic experience. Recently, we decided to book another Safari with Africa Flash McTours & Travel for our group of six individuals. The booking process was straightforward, thanks to the owner, Peter, who was incredibly service-oriented and promptly addressed all my inquiries, usually within 24 hours.
For this trip, we opted for a two-night, three-day Masai Mara tour. Our driver, Simon, arrived 30 minutes earlier than scheduled, demonstrating his punctuality and dedication to the company. With his spacious 4X4 vehicle capable of accommodating up to 8 passengers, we felt safe and excited for the journey. However, our plans were momentarily disrupted by a thunderstorm and flooding, which unfortunately claimed the lives of hundreds in Kenya. Despite the unexpected challenges, our hotel accommodation was excellent, although WiFi was only available in the lobby area, not in the rooms. Nevertheless, the tour package included breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the second night, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The meals were delicious, and the restaurant's ambiance added to the overall experience.

Our recent safari adventure in Kenya was an unforgettable experience for our family of three, including our 10-year-old son. We had the privilege of exploring three of Kenya's most renowned national p (Read More)arks: the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli National Park. Each destination offered its unique charm, and together, they created a journey we'll cherish forever.
Starting in the Masai Mara, we were fortunate to witness the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros – all in their natural habitat. The highlight of our time in the Masai Mara was an incredible cheetah hunting scene. Watching this magnificent animal in action, with its speed and agility, was both thrilling and awe-inspiring. It was like watching a live documentary, and it left us in awe of nature's raw beauty and power.
At Lake Nakuru, we were mesmerized by the vast flocks of flamingos painting the lake pink, alongside sightings of both black and white rhinos. The landscape was stunning, with sweeping views over the lake and the surrounding escarpments. Amboseli National Park, with its iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, offered us close encounters with large herds of elephants. Our son especially loved seeing the baby elephants playing by the waterholes.
Our safari was made even more special by our driver and guide, Simon. Simon was not just knowledgeable about the wildlife and the parks, but he was also incredibly responsible and attentive to our needs. He ensured that we had the best possible views for photography while maintaining a safe distance from the animals, which made us feel secure and comfortable throughout the trip. Just finished 6 days 5 nights safari tour with Flash McTours. We visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli Parks. Trip was organized well and Peter was very helpful with the booking. Our guide Anth (Read More)ony was made every effort to us to see big 5 in Masai Mara and he is very knowledgeable about animals and the parks. Anthony is also very safe driver which was important to us to feel safe.
All accommodations provided a nice blend of comfort and African style which was fun.
We had lots of questions regarding Kenya and Masai tribe and Anthony was able to answer any questions we had.

We booked an Amazing Amboseli Safari, in which we also included a day in Tsavo West National Park. We were guided for 4 days by the fantastic Simon, who was an absolute joy to have with us for those 4 (Read More) days. He was very knowledgeable, was an excellent driver and his funny jokes made sure there was never a dull moment on our trip. My wife Iris and I recently had the privilege of embarking on a safari adventure in Kenya and Tanzania for our honeymoon, and it was an experience that surpassed all expectations. From start to finish (Read More), every moment felt like a scene from a nature documentary brought to life.
Many thanks to Peter for responding quickly to emails and listening to our requests during planning. The cost was very appropriate for the experiences we received. The details from picking us up at the airport in Nairobi to booking the lodging, all the way down to providing plenty of bottled water were all taken care of.
Our safari guide, James, was very knowledgeable and deeply passionate about the wildlife and ecosystem. His expertise added immeasurable value to the journey, allowing us to witness the most remarkable sights, including the several close-up opportunities with lions, leopards, elephants and more! The sheer abundance of wildlife was breathtaking—hippos, gazelles, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and countless other species roaming freely in their natural habitat. James was also a great driver, navigating the bumpy roads to make them more smooth. He seemed to be well respected by many guides from other companies. With James, we felt as though we lucked out with one of the best in the business!
Since laws prohibit Kenyan and Tanzanian guides from crossing borders, Flash McTours contracted our Tanzanian safari adventures to another company. This transition was orchestrated very smoothly. Peter also organized our pickup at the border for our transit back to Nairobi with another great guide named Simon, who also seemed like a great guide.
The accommodations provided a perfect blend of comfort and immersion in the wilderness. Waking up to the sunrise over the savannah and falling asleep to the distant calls of the wild made each day feel like a new chapter of adventure. We stayed at the Mara Sopa Lodge (Masai Mara), Kati Kati Tented Camp (Serengeti), and the Ngorongoro Farm House (Ngorongoro Crater). All three locations that Flash McTours recommended were flawless.
The cultural interactions with the Masai people were a highlight, offering a glimpse into their traditions and way of life. It added a beautiful depth to the overall experience, allowing for a deeper appreciation of the region's rich heritage. James was knowledgeable of the Masai way of life and was able to answer any questions that we had.
I cannot recommend this safari company enough to anyone seeking an authentic and mesmerizing wildlife encounter. East Africa is a treasure trove of natural beauty and biodiversity, and this journey was an unforgettable exploration of the wonders of nature.

We felt very safe with him driving and he was very knowledgeable about the animals and the places in the parks where he could give us the best views. We could see the top 5 in the Mara and Nakuru. Special highlight was a female cheetah with 4 small babies. That was incredibly cute!
We slept in de Ashnil Lodge (Mara) and Lion's Hill Lodge (Nakuru). Everything was great here as well. We were lucky enough to always have a particularly beautiful view of nature from our room.
In the Mara there was still the possibility to see the sunrise with a hot air balloon. We will certainly save that for next time.
