Partners & ground handlers in Kenya, GLORY SAFARIS LTD., established over for 15 years in KENYA & TANZANIA
Operating as a ‘dot.com’ company, mainly in the background via several Sales Engines, including Retail Tra (Read More)vel Agents in UK & India
Karibuni also operates its own web site, www.karibunikenyasafaris.com that generates direct sales.
MISSION
The current SAFARIS holidays to KENYA & TANZANIA being offered tend to be very high priced. The same or similar Safari Holidays can be offered at a much lower price – specially in current difficult economic times. Lower priced holidays will increase tourism to Kenya & Tanzania, thus enabling these countries to invest more into WILDLIFE CONSERVATION PROGRAMES. Karibuni would like to be part of these programes whilst running a profitable business.
GOALS & OBJECTIVES
o Within the first 3 months, the company has achieved its GOAL by being established as a PRINCIPAL TOUR OPERATOR providing medium & low cost safaris to Kenya & Tanzania
o Karibuni has established, within the first 6 months, all administrative functions of the business including Accounting, Banking, IT, Web Development & Communication
o Obtaining relevant licenses for to trade with suppliers in Kenya, including Kenya Association of Tour Operators (KATO) membership
o Negotiating & commissioning of WILDLIFE LODGE & HOTEL suppliers in Kenya & Tanzania, in order to provide more cost effective accommodation whilst on safari.
o To launch ALL products & services with Sales Engines in UK, Middle East & India
o Continued monitoring of all products, sales, operational & administrative activities, making any changes if required, thus ensuring all activities are carried out to plan and the business meets set standards & financial targets.
o To work closely with Kenya Tourist Board, Kenya Wildlife Services, Tanzania Tourist Boar
