I traveled with my husband for 10 days in November 2024. We had booked our trip via Travel Company KraftMyTrip located in Zirakpur and our main Point of Contact was Parineet.
Here are feedback on issu (Read More)es we Encountered:
1.Pattaya Twin Bed Issue: The double bed room we had booked was unavailable, which caused inconvenience, and the hotel staff provided us with a twin bed room instead. This was also a mistake made by the travel company for mentioning the twin bed arrangement in our voucher. It was the arrival day in Thailand, and we were exhausted, which made this situation very frustrating. KraftMyTrip did not handle the situation as expected.
2. Ticket to Sanctuary of Truth: The cab was on time, but we did not receive the tickets promptly and had to wait in the waiting area for about 40 minutes. We had to coordinate with the team repeatedly to get the tickets, as they were not proactive in sharing them with us.
3. Pattaya to Bangkok Driver Issue: There was a lot of miscommunication due to a language barrier with the driver, and he made his own plans to drive around Bangkok city. This caused significant confusion and frustration.
4. Baiyoke Hotel to Airport Transfer Issue: The cab was not on time, and we had a flight to catch that day. At the last minute, we were assigned a different driver, which was very stressful. We had to wait outside the hotel for about 30-40 minutes.
5. Phuket Hotel[Seeka Boutique Resort] Issues: The experience with the Phuket hotel was exhausting. The luggage service was poor, and we had to carry our luggage to the 5th floor ourselves (though via a lift). Despite paying the travel company for breakfast, we were asked to pay an additional 720 THB, which was supposed to be refunded by KraftMyTrip. There were also issues with breakfast coordination. Room service was not up to expectations. Again, we had booked a double bed room, but the hotel provided us with a twin bed arrangement, and again travel company was not helpful in resolving this. We even requested a hotel change as the staff in Phuket hotel were rude, but again, KraftMyTrip did not assist us.
6. Cab to Phi Phi Island: All our transfers were supposed to be private cabs, but this transfer was on a shared basis, which was not what we expected.
7.Driver Asking for Extra Money for luggage: The driver requested additional payment for luggage when we left the Phuket hotel by shared transport for the port to go to Koh Phangan by ferry. Upon inquiry, we learned this was unnecessary, which caused a lot of inconvenience.
Positive Experiences: The only positive experiences were our stays in Bangkok, Koh Phangan, and Krabi, which were great with no issues. Our experiences in Phi Phi Island and the 4-island tour were the parts of the trip those were enjoyable and well-organized.
Overall Rating: I would rate our experience overall as a "2" because no one from the KraftMyTrip team made any effort to coordinate with us after the trip was over. And nobody tried to seek our feedback and neither they provided us with the breakfast refund as mentioned in point#5 above. Despite our attempts to contact them in frustration during the trip.
