WARNING: Do NOT Book with MS Paradise Holidays – A Deeply Misleading and Unprofessional Agency
Our recent trip to Kashmir, organiz (Read More)ed through MS Paradise Holidays, turned into a stressful ordeal due to the agency’s shocking level of mismanagement, dishonesty, and lack of professionalism. This is not just a negative review—this is a serious warning for anyone considering them for travel.
1. Misleading Promises & False Itinerary Execution
We booked our package only after confirming specific requirements—especially hotel stays in Gulmarg and Sonmarg. Instead, we were placed in Tangmarg, under a hotel deceptively named “Gulmarg Inn.” We were never informed of this change, and the agency later blamed “budget issues”—after having already asked us to stretch our budget. It felt like a bait-and-switch.
Numerous sightseeing points listed in the itinerary were never covered. In Pahalgam, we were told one local cab was needed, but we ended up hiring separate vehicles at almost every location—Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Pahalgam—at our own expense. In Srinagar, we were promised several included activities, but only received a one-hour Shikara ride. Everything else required more payments. This was blatant misrepresentation.
2. Highly Unprofessional Payment Handling
Despite paying ₹35,000 in advance (total package ₹80,000 for two adults and one child), no advance hotel bookings were made by the agency. Each day, we were sent UPI links to pay directly to hotels and drivers. This was unlike anything we’ve experienced with any legitimate travel company. It became obvious the actual cost of the trip was much lower—meaning the agency pocketed a massive cut without providing any real service or transparency.
3. A Disturbing Incident on Our Last Day
On our final day in Jammu, we requested a few extra hours at the hotel due to a late train. To our horror, during checkout, the hotel informed us that even the original booking hadn’t been paid for. We were stuck, humiliated, and nearly missed our train. No one from the agency responded to our repeated calls. Only after an hour of stress did the hotel finally get through to someone and secure the payment.
4. The Trip Was Saved Only by Kashmir Itself
The only redeeming part of our journey was the kindness of the Kashmiri people—the hotel staff, drivers, and locals who treated us with warmth and respect. Their hospitality stood in stark contrast to the poor conduct of MS Paradise Holidays.
This was not just an inconvenience—it was a deliberate, systematic failure of duty by a travel agency that operates without ethics or transparency.
I strongly urge everyone: Do not trust MS Paradise Holidays with your time, money, or safety. What was meant to be a dream vacation became a constant source of stress and anxiety. Save yourself from the trauma and choose a travel provider that respects your trust.
