Good arrangement.All the vehicles at various places were well organised.Overall experience very good.Mr Kiran Kumar helped us in booking all the boat transfers, site seeing. Adventurous trip. We did (Read More)not waste time anywhere. All the days were well utilised. Thanks to Mr Kirankumar and Rajesh who had made all the vehicle arrangements.

Our trip was for a week and spanned across Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair), Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) and Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island). We were a (Read More)family of 4 adults and a child (including 2 senior citizens)
Our agent Arshad was very kind and always tried to help us no matter what. He was available to chat and talk for any query or favor we wanted. He helped with customization of the itinerary before the trip and with any change requests during the trip as well. He also proactively checked on us whether everything was going per expectations.
Originally, we weren’t planning to book the trip through travel agent. But the pricing of the package was competitive and reasonable.
Tips:
1. Everything that gets imported is expensive. Plan and carry items accordingly. Eg: A lemon in Port Blair was Rs.5 (probably locally grown; cheaper than my city); It was Rs.20 in Havelock; Didn’t even check on Neil.
2. Tender coconut water was cheap on all 3 Islands. Do try the local kind (orangish) which is very sweet and expensive as there are fewer trees of this kind.
3. If you are not into water activities, very few things to do in this trip. Talking about people like me going for a vacation.
4. For all activities involving coral and underwater life sighting, weather (rain affects water clarity) and tide (low vs high) plays a role. Do check both and plan to avoid disappointments or surprises.
5. Carry an umbrella and ample sun protection (shades, hat, clothing, lotions, etc.) or purchase. Or get tanned ?.
6. Taking corals (even dead) is illegal. If you buy something anywhere do keep bills, else you may have to throw them in waste bin in airport.
7. 4 major private cruise operators are in business. All of them allow booking tickets online. You can book yourself or ask your agent early to get preferred seats.
8. Try to get a window seat when arriving to Andaman. The views you get before landing are really great. You do not get to see all these when departing as the flight will be in a rush to gain altitude. And remember not to take any photos videos of the airport as it is illegal and a punishable offence.
9. If you are picky about food, get early breakfast to have all options on the buffet.
10. Most cars are not at-disposal. There is no need for it as well. Current way makes it economical. The places are nearby and if you are going via agent, its easy to get a car when you need it. Just be planful about distance of the place and time you want to spend there. Inform driver ahead if you prefer car waiting for you rather than vice-versa.
