About Zanskar Adventure Point
ZAP Ladakh is an initiative by a Native Inhabitant of Zanskar Valley. He has been an ardent traveler, expeditionist, a social-worker, travel guide and a development practitioner.
ZAP is the first of its kind, Travel Adventure Company located in Padum, the Central Town of Zanskar Valley. Poor.
The organiser was always available before making all the arrangements , planning and up until payment .
During the trip it was extremely difficult to get hold of him.
Though the accommodati (Read More)on were all booked, we faced issue at 2 places, where we were denied accommodation as the travel agency had not made the payment to the hotel. After multiple calls and few discussion we were given the rooms.
We didn't even recieve the receipt for the payment , which was promised after the trip. It's been 6 months and I haven't any mail or phone response.
Recently I received a call from hotel where we stayed , who told us that even they haven't received any payment.

Review of Zanskar Adventure Point, Ladakh
They had made wonderful arrangements with high end accommodation and transport. The locations were mesmerizing and tent accommodation in Nubra Valley was superb. Pyangongtso location tents were OK an (Read More)d there was scope for improvement there. Hotels in Glacier View and Grand Himalaya were very comfortable with caring staff and great service.
Thanks to Tariq and his team for making our holiday a memorable one.

Ladakh tour with Zanskar adventure point

Very happy with the accomodation arranged. But need to improve on their communication. The driver who came with us to Kargil was very good,But not happy with the other one who was with us for the firs (Read More)t 4 days. Was not at all helpful when we were caught in the landslides. Did not have the oxygen cylinder also which he should have.other than that we had a great holiday.

Trip to Ladakh
Not at all happy with the service and management of the agency. The agency is based in Kargil and does the bookings for Leh Ladakh through other small agents who never get in touch neither they are re (Read More)achable. There is no co-ordinations and more than half of the tie ups for permits and drivers for sightseeing are to be done by the customers....

We tried every best and infact gave you the best Package, however you have not talked about anything positive. And we are feeling really bad that you never brought anything to our (Read More)notice, we kept asking you if everything is fine and every time you gave a positive answer. Today after reading your review we are a little taken aback...thinking where did we miss out. We shall definitely work harder and improve upon our services, We believe in constant learning, although we are more into adventure activities than the kind of package you had asked from us. They were not at all responsible people. Did not have the manners to speak to a fellow Human being. They forget that they are in a sevice Industry.

* Mr. Jain was on a 10 Day Trip to Ladakh and Refused to go by our Plan, because he was expecting a 5* Service and Accommodation just for INR 30000/- for 10 Days in Ladakh? Any sensible person who has (Read More) been to Ladakh would know, what is it like asking for? We tried our best to serve to his expectations and even went on an extra mile in doing so, but he had weird objections " Such as - I dont like this locality, I need better rooms, I need Proper Jain Food, so on and so forth...." Therefore its a request to all readers of this review to kindly, understand under what circumstances and challenges we operate in Ladakh, being a High Altitude Himalayan Zone- We may not be able to fulfill all your fancies due to inevitable geographical limitations- Therefore Lamenting reviews like this is nothing but frustrations coming out".... We at ZAP Ladakh being a TOP CHOICE ON LONELY PLANET- KNOW OUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES very well... However what we fail to understand from some of our clients is.... They expect services and comfort beyond their own POCKETS..! Which i think equally unfair!.... We are thriving to improve upon with every step we take in serving our clients- We would still thank Mr Mukesh for Taking out the time to write a review on our website- and we will make it a point that we dont delete his review...!!
