Also known as the Gardens of Auckland, Auckland Botanic Gardens are spread over 64 hectares in Manurewa, a suburb in South Auckland. With plants and flowers that are evergreen, this attraction isn’t open only to Science freaks, but for anyone who wants to relax and rejuvenate their senses with flora from across the world. Even though the Gardens are open throughout the year, the best time to visit them is from April to October.
The Domain Wintergardens is a widely popular landmark in Auckland and has been recognized as one of the Category 1 historic places by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust. The venue attracts a lot of tourists because of its unique architecture, and the ever-changing display of the flora found there. The Wintergardens are located within the Auckland Domain, on the Wintergarden road, again signifying the historic importance that the place holds.
