Hoi An offers numerous workshops that teach lantern making. The bamboo frames are already prepared and you are taught to attach the fabric to the frame. In this way, kids can make their own souvenirs. While some workshops are conducted at scheduled times, the others teach you whenever approached.

Located about 350 km from Hanoi, Sapa is home to the highest peak in all of Indochina - Fan Si Pan. Sapa has pleasant weather with a constant cool breeze, pretty waterfalls and the terraced mountains. When in Sapa, you can visit the Hoang Lein National Park to catch a glimpse of some of the well-protected endangered species of animals, go on a trek to the Fan Si Pan mountain, and visit the Cat Cat or the Ta Phin villages and interact with the locals. The local museum and cathedral are also worth a visit.

The Crazy House started as a coffee shop and has now become a public museum. It stands up to its name as the architectural design of this place is completely crazy. It has curved staircases, convoluting turrets, strange walkways and much more. It also has quirky art installations in bright popping colours.
After a fun-filled trip through this wacky house, the kids can rest in the central garden with juice or ice-cream. The place is generally child-safe but kids may need to be supervised at the upper floors where the staircases are not high enough.

The Phu Quoc cable car system is the longest route in the world. The route spans 8 km connecting the Phu Quoc Island to the Hon Thom island and reaches within 15 minutes. In these 15 minutes, passengers get a view of fishing villages, pristine turquoise waters and fishing boats passing beneath them. The ride ends on a white sand beach on the Hon Thom island. The kids are definitely going to get fascinated by the ride owing to the breathtaking views. The play area at the landing spot is also something kids will enjoy.

At the Golden Dragon Puppet Theatre in Ho Chi Minh City, dragons, fairies and other exotic characters come to life in a 4 square metre pool coupled with appropriate music and lighting effects. However, all spectators are left wondering the mystery behind the working of this exceptional art form.
Each puppet show lasts for about 50 minutes with three shows a day.
