One such family hosts a cooking class in their garden house. Here you learn how to make some of the most intriguing recipes from the Royal cuisine of Vietnam.

2. Saigon Cooking Class

In the city of Ho Chi Minh, you can find an amazing cooking class named Saigon Classes. What sets this place apart from other cooking classes in Vietnam is its association with the Hoa Tuc restaurant. You will be taught to cook up to 3 Vietnamese signature dishes that are a part of the Hoa Tuc’s menu. These classes happen in a batch of about 13 participants so that everyone is given enough space and attention. They have a customized, varied menu for all days of the week. The good thing about M.O.M classes is, they conduct the classes even if there are very few people in a batch. In this case, you can have a personal experience and enjoy the wifi that’s provided!

4. Lua’s Kitchen

This cooking class is hosted by Lau Le at her house in Ho Chi Minh city. She works at a law firm but caters to her passion for cooking by offering cooking classes in the evenings. She specializes in authentic and traditional recipes from the Vietnamese heritage. Based on your special requests, she can also provide you with a customized menu for learning. No special equipment will be used for the class so that you can easily make these dishes in the comfort of your house. 6. HMC Cooking Class

The HCM Cooking class package includes a tour of the nearby villages. You get to see cows, buffalo sheds, and rice fields. You also get to pick up fresh vegetables and ingredients for the dishes that you will make later. They teach the participants various techniques for making Vietnamese cuisine. The participants, along with the certificates, can also avail of an email service to get notified about the cuisine even after their trip is ended.

Mai Home offers a variety of courses under their umbrella-like a Discovery initiation Course, an advanced course, and a professional course. Any visitors who like to learn about the culinary aspect and the gastronomy of Vietnam can opt for this entry-level course. You can learn a few basic dishes which will be easy to cook even when you go back home. The chef takes you shopping and gives you an entire experience with his step to step demonstration of his cooking. You are also given a certificate of recognition and a book of various recipes that you take home.

8. Van’s Kitchen

Van’s Kitchen is an intimate cooking class hosted by Doan and his mother (Van) at their residence. Doan takes you to the market tour while guiding you about the culture and life in Vietnam while back home Van teaches you how to make some of the most mouthwatering Vietnamese recipes.

9. Hue’s Family Cooking School

While this site is included in many tours as an activity, one can also join the cooking class separately. The class starts with a visit to the local market or wet market as people refer to it. The chef accompanies you while you handpick all the fresh herbs, vegetables, and other ingredients needed by you to make a delicious meal. Once done, you return to your venue, and the chef instructs you on how to make all the listed dishes in the simplest way possible.

The GIOAN Cookery offers private class options for visitors, couples, or groups. Unlike other cooking classes, they have a wide range of batch timings from 8 am to 10 pm. You can pick any 3 hours (including the market trip) as per your convenience. The class offers three main menus and an option to choose dishes from 48 given dishes for you to learn. You can customize your course as per your choice.
