The US and Canadian citizens do not require a visa to travel to the Bahamas. US nationals must carry their Green card as an identity proof and Canadian citizens must have a valid passport for at least six months from the date of travelling. Nationals of another 120 countries do not require a visa to travel to the Bahamas but they require a valid passport. Visitors must have sufficient funds as well as an onward or return ticket.

Visa is required by Indian citizens to visit the Bahamas. Indian citizens are required to have a valid passport for at least 6 months from the date of travel and all the other relevant documents while travelling. Both tourist visa and business visa may take up to 06-08 weeks to get processed after getting approved. Photocopies of all the originals are to be submitted along with the originals. All original documents will be returned only after the visa is processed.
