Most rooms have a wash basin and are spread over 3 upper floors of a traditional 100-year-old Scottish tenement building. Shower rooms and toilets are shared amongst guests and all rooms are upstairs (no lift)"

    Good place for a short stay in Dundee.
    The location was excellent and the price was good. The man who runs it was nice. It was very near the river and the bridge and the new V&A museum, as well as the train and bus station and the center of town. In other words, it met my requirements.

    Abalree - a happy place to stop.
    Abalree was very relaxed and at home feeling. It was great for visiting the city highlights. Also good for finding places to eat. It was perfect fir the station and the river front and quiet as the street is pedestrianised. Lots of arty things to look at and an interesting old building.
    Tiny loo on third floor but better than not having one! Understandable as the building is listed. Loved my room at the top anyway so not complaining.

    Colorful place with nice little extras
    A great location in town, as the street right infront of the hostel is closed for cars. You can still unload, but there is no traffic noise, which is really nice. The communication with the hostel by phone was easy and friendly and our stay pleasant. The room we were in was facing the backside with a little noise from a restaurant, but we had a perfectly relaxing sleep. The room is individualy and slightly over decorated, but in a nice way. The hostel provides a microwave and dish cleaning facilities.
