    Yes as other reviews have stated its a little dated but do not let that deter...lovely place and reasonably priced

    Great value place to stay for the modernist experience.
    The hotel is an architect designed joy in the modernist tradition. Its situation is perfect between the Atlantic Ocean and the lagoon with a bridge connecting it to Faro itself. Great value for money.

    Convenient short stay before flying from faro airport
    Hotel is old but in a convenient position - they are building a new bridge over the lagoon right outside the hotel - but amazingly it has become an attraction to watch the workmen from the hotel bar ! The reception lady was so friendly and the room was fine for a short stay The beach was fabulous for being so near to the airport - I decided to walk back to airport after I checked out and stood watching the planes flying over my head ! Great spot for a couple of days !

    Fabulous staff and good value for money.
    It was near the beach on Faro Island. Taxis to Faro are expensive but the ferry is really cheap. Staff were really helpful and as it was my birthday whilst I was there gave me a cake and took 50% of my meal on that day. If you want a beach holiday it is ideal. ATM is just across the road.
    Construction on a new bridge going on but that was only during the day whilst we were out anyway.
