Nice stay!

Beautiful and calm surroundings and only 4km to the railway station, very helpful and friendly staff!

The bed sheet could be renewed and the AC was not switched on the whole time

Renju the manager is awesome! Very helpful and understanding. He is very knowledgeable about all the fruit trees that grow at Akkara. He was always available.

Poor location, poor attitude

I could not enter the premises since the entrance was flooded. This can happen. But I would have appreciated If the staff had warned me in advance, before my arrival. Alternatively if they had assisted me to reach the property somehow by helping me with the luggage it would have been great. But when I called the manager a few metres outside the property saying that the entrance is flooded, his retort was that earlier vehicles had somehow reached and I too should try and reach on my own

Second home

Have you ever wondered what made Kerala gods own country; try to stay at this place and experience. Its Set in a serene backdrop and traditional spirits. We loved our stay there and time we spend the host family. It was absolutely delightful to be with whole team. Manager - Renju will organise everything that you need and big thanks to Susan, her brother, the Ammachi the whole team was blissful. Highly recommended.

Nothing to comment. If you are into glittery city hotels; Akkara isnt your place
