    Overall, pleasant and enjoyable stay.
    The care given by the host was really good. They have explained the activities and near by places to go in details. Good food was arranged for dinner and breakfast. Location is close to the Lake and the road is narrow from Main Road(hardly 1.5km from main road). So, needs to be little careful while driving your car. If you go by google map, it will direct you through fastest route, which is not a good route. Better call the resort and ask them to guide you. Boating arranged by host (My Punnyalan Shikara) in the morning was awesome.
    Small insects in balcony, attracted to lights during night.

    Excellent value property and backwater location with very pleasant owner and staff and tasty food.
    Location was very good for backwaters and boat trip. The family owning the property were very pleasant and helped with the shikara boat trip and onward taxi. The food from the associated restaurant (prawns, fish) was very tasty. The surrounding paddy fields/rural scene was very pleasant

    Backwater Breeze is in a lovely quiet spot where the canal and lake meets. The area feels very safe. Our room was spotlessly clean and has a private balcony overlooking the canal, which is a great spot to watch the boats pass by. Special mention to the lovely staff and Dibu in particular, who was super helpful making sure that we had everything we needed. He arranged an early morning and a sunset boat ride, arranged food to be prepared on site or brought food in, arranged an auto to take us to a nearby Hindu temple. The accommodation can also do laundry service. Uber also services this area and you might find that to be your cheapest option especially for a longer journey. We had a great time here and would heartily recommend it.

    Such a great stay, highly recommend to others.
    We had a lovely stay. Its was so peaceful and quiet. The room is really nice and the shower/bathroom especially nice. The breakfast was great (and huge!). The staff were very helpful and kind - I asked if I could buy some papaya from them in the afternoon and they led me out to their garden where we picked some free of charge and they even gave us some more when we checked out.

    The guesthouse manager was exceptional. Nothing was too difficult for him! Location was gorgeous right on the canal, so we could sit on the verandah and watch the boating activities.
    Actually nothing. The guesthouse style of accommodation appealed to us.

    Good homestay at perfect location with the most friendly host
    The host Dibu went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He offered to order lunch and dinner for us and even when we preferred to have some small local snacks instead, he went to the stall to get them, regardless of the storming rain! The room is basic, but the location is perfect! We did a day tour with Canoe Kerala, which is very close by and also recommendable!

    Absolutely amazing and Scenic Property. Exceptional Service
    Location was absolutely scenic and pleasant! Very well maintained rooms. The host was very helpful and took really good care throughout our stay. We travelled with a 2 yr old baby, and the host made sure we were very comfortable. Swiggy service available to the location.
