    Was alright.
    Great staff and great location. Room was perfect for our stay.
    The aircon was turned off even though it was very hot for November. We couldnt sleep with our window open because it was too noisy and the fan didnt work well. We were also woken up from about 5am because of loud pipes and this lasted a few hours.

    Nice room, perfect location
    Location is ideal as it is just outside of the main tourist area; breakfast is normal Italian with a pastry and coffee; street parking is luck dependent (or pay for it); room is pretty standard, clean, no frills.

    Extremely convenient, clean and quiet.
    The hotel location is great, just a 3 min walk to the start of the sassi tourist walking routes, restaurants and bars. It is a clean and quite hotel.
    Parking near the hotel is difficult if you are at the weekend. Overnight parking in a public car park is expensive 25 euro per 24 hours. There is free on street parking about 400meters from the hotel but it's pot luck if there is space.

    Amazing location, friendly staff. Breakfast is near the hotel in a very cosy pastry shop with delicious croissants and cappuccino.
    It was very hot in Matera and air conditioning was not working properly.

    Nice hotel. Very good location.
    The bed was firm, which I like, but there was very little padding on top of the springs. A foam mattress topper would solve the issue.
