    Location, style
    Poor room facilities, bathroom placed within the room (no separation, no ventilation, no bidet). No hangers for bath towels/coats/clothes. Mean/mediocre breakfast.

    Gorgeous cave hotel in Matera!
    An amazing cave experience. The staff was fantastic! They offered us a delicious glass of red wine on arrival which was a lovely touch. We loved our room and the breakfast was delicious as well. A truly beautiful place.

    Cozy, charming and unique experience in the heart of Matera!
    The location is great! The room was so spacious and cozy. Not cold at all. The smell was so good, blankets, towels, soaps, we loved everything! The lobby is beautiful, it has such a nice atmosphere. The breakfast room is a dream! Really a beautiful hotel! Everybody was lovely with us (including our fur baby Molly). Highly recommend this place and would love to go back and stay longer.
    I arrived at the end for breakfast and the choice of salty things as cheese, ham, etc was not that much. They could maybe check that every guest would get all. All the rest was perfect!

    Everything. The place was exceptionally clean, the staff attentive and friendly. The scent and the toiletries were all amazing. The breakfast was simple but very good and showcased the cuisine of Matera.

    Great place to stay in the heart of Matera
    Amazing location in the heart of Matera. All the rooms are in the cave which make this hotel unique. The staff was exceptional accommodating our late arrival and then helped us with parking our car.

    The ambiance was so magical! Or cave room had interesting layout and open concept, it was huge! Loves the bad and decor in general. The main reception and breakfast room were equally impressive. Location was central.

    Highly recommend.
    Breakfast, location, staff, the apartment were outstanding and more than we could imagine. Stunning.
    There were no dishes or silverware other than cups in the apartment.
