Exceptional

Awesome location, kind staff

Awesome location, 1-2 minute walk from the bus station (and we didn't have to walk up many stairs). Close to sightseeing points and restaurants. Maria and staff were very very kind. We had to leave early, outside of breakfast time range but we got some food and drink in the last evening in advance. Comfortable beds, clean room and bathroom. Early check-in was possible and we were offered to drink coffee / fruit juice.

Central location, clean room The staff was nice, we were able to check-in a little bit earlier.

It is an old building and sometimes this is visible- some tiles were moving, the walls not so clean. The breakfast was quite bad, even though it was said that contains yogurt, cheese, ham (there was a list in a breakfast room) we didn't receive any of these. Only some bread, butter, jam and some sweets/ of course coffee and juice were also available. No duvet available, there was a blanket.

Wonderful people, wonderful location, wonderful breakfast!

Everything was wonderful! We were a family group of five, and occupied one room with a single and double bed (Room number 5), and a double-bed room (Room number 4). This is a family-owned enterprise, run by them for several generations, with lots of love and attention. We had a wonderful, wonderful, relaxing stay (November 2023). The rooms and beds were very comfortable, each with cheerful decor, a small fridge, good bathroom, and spotlessly clean. The location in the main piazza, opposite the Duomo, is exceptional. Its a very short, flat walk from the port and taxi and bus parking area (maybe two minutes), with only a single flight of stairs to enter the hotel, which is on the first floor. I could lie in my bed and look out onto the facade of Duomo (Room 5)! (Room 4 also had an excellent view). Despite its central location in the piazza, I didnt find it noisy, although we werent there in peak season. The breakfast was wonderful, and extremely generous. We were served individually at table - croissants, bread rolls, jams, prosciutto, cheeses, delicious cakes, yoghurts, a range of fruits, coffees, and fruit juices. The breakfast lady was lovely- I think she was trying to fatten us up, she kept offering more! The staff, Maria the owner, and the other lady, were truly wonderful, friendly and helpful. On checkout day, we had problems with the next and final leg of our trip - the ferry to Capri was suddenly cancelled on our day of departure from Amalfi. Maria contacted the ferry line for us, to confirm, was luckily, was able to offer us accommodation if we needed to stay longer; when we had decided our next move, she booked a taxi van for us to return to Naples. Thank you, Maria, for a wonderful, memorable stay! We hope to return. Jennifer, Williams wife.
