Disappointing

5 star price for a 3 star room

- close to alhambra. - city view

- The rooms are very outdated. Very old furniture. Very dark ambiance of the room. Feels like staying in a old 3* city hotel in an average european town. - Very expensive for its value. We stayed in two different hotels in our trip to Granada. Price of one night of this hotel was more than by a factor of two higher than the other hotel, and we loved the other hotel a lot (which was 4*). This is not justifiable. - City view was nice but not that interesting. You cannot really see old Granada and important sights. It is just a normal city view. Not very special. - Stuff was not friendly. You dont feel special at all. They are not rude, but they dont have any smile or welcome. At reception, you feel like getting your stuff done at a busy bank desk rather than being greeted for your special trip at the most expensive hotel in Granada. - Location is good to visit Alhambra, but far from city. Coming back at night is around 15m-20m walking uphills, and it is in a very dark and deserted road in forest. We counted minutes to reach the hotel as it was quite scary to walk in such an isolated road at the middle of the night. No restaurant, coffee or market nearby to hotel. Not nice to stay if you want to experience Granada. If you wont visit Alhambra every day of your trip, I recommend staying in center which is lively 24hours, instead of this place.

Htel was adequate but will never go back.

Well positioned and pleasant enough.

It was a big barn of a place and not particularly warm. The room was unexceptional but the worst was the food. Awful sums it up fairly. So much so that we had a table booked for supper on Christmas Day and after a couple of prior meals in the hotel we cancelled the restaurant and ate in Granada city centre. We wouldnt go back on that alone.
