Alpine Inn

I didnt like that there was no parking on the side my original room was. i like to be able to keep an eye on my car and one side of the hotel does not have that option. but luckily they were able to switch my room. unfortunately the refrigerator was warm when i checked in, so i had to wait a while for it to start working. it eventually did so i didnt say anything about it. . i am not a fan of the sink being outside the rest of the bathroom. maybe some people like that. breakfast is meh. no hot options, just standard bagels , toast, cereal. it was ok, and for just passing through an ok option. they did have hot chocolate so that was a good thing since juice options were apple and orange. no waffles. I think this is the first lower cost hotel i have been to that didnt offer waffles. if you are just passing through and just want a cheap option to lay your head that is clean and comfortable enough, it will work and be great for you. smaller place with one floor. it was quiet,somehwat outside main part of pagosa springs. which is a good thing. just look out for overzealous colorado cops who hang out close to there and like to prey on tourists..
