Our stay was comfortable but fell short of a 5-star experience

The check-in process was seamless, and we were greeted by Alta, who was polite and accommodating. Her warm welcome set a positive tone for my stay. However, I encountered an issue with the check-in time on public holidays. It would be helpful if the establishment specified any variations from the standard check-in time of 18:00, rather than assuming guests are aware of such changes. This miscommunication can be frustrating for travellers. Regarding the decor of the place, it's a matter of personal preference. While I found it to be acceptable, the aesthetics may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it didn't hinder our overall experience.

Our room had a persistent musty smell that was rather unpleasant. It's important for the management to address this issue to improve the overall comfort of the rooms. Another concern was the weak Wi-Fi signal in the bedroom. In this day and age, a strong and reliable internet connection is expected, especially for those who need to stay connected for work or leisure. The steep driveway leading to the property could be a challenge for vehicles with low clearance. Guests should be aware of this before arriving to avoid any inconveniences. Furthermore, the lack of a captivating view from the room was disappointing, as I expected more in that regard. When it comes to breakfast, I found the dietary options to be limited. A more diverse menu with a wider range of choices would have been appreciated, especially for guests with dietary restrictions.
