The game drive was out of this world and the rangers (John and Petrus) made it even more special. The kids bonded with them immediately and we spent 4 memorable days there

If I want to be very picky, as it was very hot, there could have been 2 a/cs in out family room as the fan from the main a/c did not reach the kids bed on the other side of the room. Also, would have been refreshing to have fresh fruit juice instead of canned ones. But this is being very demanding!

The staff made the experience even more unforgettable

We decided to go to Kapama Rover Lodge to celebrate my birthday and certainly picked the right place. Location is very close to Hoedspruit airport but we never sensed it in any way during our stay and we had an outstanding time there. The 2 daily game drives (3 hrs each) with Vulan and Humphrey were a great experience. Their ability led us to spot the Big5 in just 3 days. The staff at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful (s/o to Rodney and Erasmus) with good and generous food and drink options.
