In this hotel the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Here is a non- comprehensive list of things that happened during 1 night stay in the New Year's night.
1. We were told we had no reservation, then they said they were mistaken.
2. Someone else was assigned the same room as us, and they opened the door while we were changing clothes.
3. Our key card was broken twice.
4. When before arriving, I asked by phone they told the additional charge for the galla dinner is 11000 LKR, but in the hotel they wanted to charge 12500 LKR and only after negotiations they agreed for the initial price.
5. They have more staff members than guests but there was no one in the swimming pool area when I was swimming at around 6-7 pm.
6. During the galla dinner, we were the only couple who was dancing, and 20 people were taking our photos and videos (including many staff members) and they didn't even ask if we wanted them to record us.
7. At 11:00 pm, while we were still dancing and drinking and waiting for the New Year they brought us the bill for drinks and asked to pay at that moment since they could not add the bill to the room.
8. It took 20 minutes 5 staff members and 3 terminls to charge from a card, since their terminals were not working properly.
9. At 11:40 PM when we were disappointed that they didn't allow us to continue partying and were almost sleeping in our room, the called us to told that they forget to charge for 1 Soda and asked to come downstairs to pay.
10. The next day every staff member we met wanted to ask where we were from and take a photo with us. As if we were some sort of celebrities. And we didn't like that.
