    Good choice for an accessible central location.
    Good hotel in an excellent location close to the Altstadt and the Hauptbahnhof. Comfortable room with most necessary facilities. Well designed building with a good ambience. Pleased with proper cups and glasses.
    Breakfast pitched at too high a price and needs a more attractive inclusive offer, we went out to local cafes and saved a large amount. A few little niggles - no milk (just horrible creamer not suitable for tea); staircase ended up in back-of-house area rather than lobby (very poor practice); no menus anywhere for the hotel dinner - but we found some excellent restaurants nearby at much bettrer value than the basic 37 menu price quoted for Barcelo.

    A 9/10, with the only negative experience being the rushed breakfast service for 25
    I liked the feel of the place, the central location, the setup & quality of the room, but especially we enjoyed the staff at the reception (check-in & check-out).
    The breakfast service felt rushed. We were barely seated at the table for 10min and we went to get some refill coffee. Once we returned to our seats, the table was cleared and we needed to get everything from the buffet anew. Quite frustrating after you've paid 50 to enjoy a relaxed breakfast.

    Fabulous hotel in a great location with wonderful staff.
    We absolutely loved this hotel. While we had anticipated that our room might not be ready early in the day, we were pleasantly surprised that we could "move in" at 10 am, and check-in was a breeze. The room was spacious and quiet with a very large and comfortable bed in it. Our particular thanks go to Darko the barman (hope he has recovered) who made us feel very welcome on Christmas Day, the breakfast team who looked after us every morning at the crack of dawn, and the receiption team who made it possible for us to extend our room into the evening of our departure day, despite it being New Year's Eve and the hotel being busy. We will come back!

    Location, comfort and service.
    The location is really good, facilities are comfortable, the shower is amazing. Restaurant is tasty and personnel is incredibly nice.
    The building including the elevators are a little old.

    Great experience, would definitely stay again!
    The staff was so friendly and helpful and accommodating and answered all our questions. Location was great, right in the middle of everything and also near an amazing bookshop. The bed and the pillows were so comfy. Excellent experience all around.
    Elevator buttons weren't working when we were there, but the staff more than made up for it.

    Nice and quiet hotel, located near railway station
    Overall it's a nice hotel, we stayed 4 nights. Staff is very friendly, hotel is quiet and clean, and breakfast is good. Room has a good size and is well equipped. It is located 10 minutes away from railway station and Underground. So, in this sense, it has been a good staying.
    The restaurant and the bar were closed during the 4 days of our staying, so thera was not the option to sit and have a cup of tea in the hotel. Another temporary problem (sure it will be fixed soon) was that the three elevators only worked from the lobby, and you had to call reception every time you wanted to go down from the room. Not a big problem, as elevator was sent in 1 minute.

    Excellent location , we booked a mini suite for a family of 4 and it worked really well. The Breakfast was also very good and was available until 1030 hrs on weekdays
    My only niggle would be that the shower door did allow some water to escape
