The rooms, renovated in 2018, overlook the surrounding mountains and offer satellite TV and free WiFi. Most of the rooms have a balcony, The 330 m² spa area features various saunas, a fitness room, a sun bed, and a massage bed. Bathrobes are provided. In the famous SchnapsHansBar you enjoy the largest Aprés-ski of the region The Schmittenhöhe Berghotel is only reachable by cable car, which operates between 08:30 and 16:30. From the valley station, the centre of Zell am See can be reached in 5 minutes with the free ski bus, or on foot in 20 minutes. The ski pass is also valid in Kaprun, 8 km away.

    Truly spectacular experience on top of the world
    The hotel and the staff were excellent throughout, what a wonderful location, all staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful especially Gary, the hotel is immaculately clean so great credit to housekeeping too and food stunning too so bravo to the chefs also. Everyone makes this hotel a true delight to be at with breathtaking views. Exceptional five course evening meal too

    Awesome location, great staff! Perfect schnapsbar:). If you're looking for ski-in ski-out hotel this is the one!
    Very soft mattress, not much to do between 5 to 7pm, besides use the wellness or stay at the bar.

    Beautiful location, great food, amazing spa.
    Spa was super nice, room was amazing with lovely views. Dinner was fantastic. Schnapps Hans bar area for hotel guests is really great.
    Paid parking area completely snowed in, not taken care of. Took us an hour to get out. Would be good to be able to get at least a snack between 4.30 and 19.00 if necessary.

    Top quality hotel at 2000m !
    Super friendly staff who just worked really hard to make your stay comfortable . The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal always high quality and delicious. The ski to door was a real bonus as was the party atmosphere in and around the hotel after skiing.

    Great location, very nice room, amazing view, good food, good beer, very good staff.
    You dont want to miss the last gondola at 16:30, its a long walk!

    Spectacular views and easy ski in ski out for a great family stay!
    The location of the hotel is second to none. Fab 360 views of the alps. Easy ski in ski out facility. Loved the recommended morning ride before breakfast.
    The rooms lacked a few essentials such as a tea maker and a small fridge. The ski room for storage was a little small, compared to other hotels we have stayed at.
