Excellent location and Customer Service

- Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from the Train Station and 10 from the Eurostar. - Excellent location for shopping. - Lovely decoration, African theme. - The best part of the hotel is the staff, Jose, Samuel and the girl that serve the breakfast were amazing and so helpful.

Pleasant and comfortable

The room was a good size for 2 adults and infant and baby. It was comfortable and clean. Staff were very pleasant and very accommodating.

The hotel overall was ok, nice room and clean, close to the center

I didn't like that they delayed our check in 3 hours. From 14.00 am - as they say in their website, we eventually got to our room at 17.00 pm. At first they told us it will be ready in an hour, so had a quick walk to the town and we went back to the hotel. Then they said they need probably more 30 minutes, so we stayed at the lobby, then they came back saying that it may take an hour!!!!! We booked for only one night, we were driving hours to reach Lille and we had to wait for 3 hours to get in our room. The excuse of the delayed was that they didn't had time to clean the room!!!!! If we knew that the room would be available that time we would have plan our trip different. When we eventually been told that the room was available, we had to cross very small corridors full of cleaning trolleys that took all the place so we couldn't pass with our luggage s . Anyway they just offered a free drink, not even a late check out - although we wouldn't use it as we had to continue our road trip. Also we were able to hear the people running (probably kids) and waking on the upper floor, during our stay. The next day we woke up early in the morning from a very strange noise that was coming from the central heating. Like a wake up alarm service before 7 am - that we never asked. The breakfast was very poor for 4 star hotel but tasty. Certainly doesn't worth the money!
