I'd say it's ok

The stuff are super nice and funny, the room is really nice and the beds are comfortable...

It's far away from everything, they didn't have dinner at the place so I asked to rent a scooter, they gave me an old horrible slow scooter. The hot water are finished after about 4-5 mins.

Disappointing

Re-Confirm your booking before you arrive. The room was satisfactory

Room was what we needed although a higher tariff for what we had been paying in other locations

Unable to get into property as gates were locked, multiple phone numbers on the gate went unanswered. Despite confirmation through booking.com we were not expected. Staff showed us the room (the one we had booked) and quoted us a different price which we accepted and paid. Later when we returned a manager/owner appeared who told us we needed to pay more as there was a mix up with the booking and he hadn't notified staff we were arriving. We paid the difference. Organized with him to have a takeaway breakfast as we had an early departure for Horton Plains. He assured us breakfast would be ready and discussed what he would organise for us to take. In the morning, staff (no manager) were busy preparing breakfast so we took our own luggage down to our car. Breakfast was 45 minutes late despite arranging to all. I felt sorry for the staff as it seemed they lacked training and communication from the manager. It is not walkable to anywhere but you can get a tuk tuk from the town., beware it is at the top of a steep hill. The weather blinds on the deck flapped all night in the wind.

Sleepless night, bad vibes

The breakfast was ok!

Here we go: The mold in the first bedroom. We were relocated on our request. Im not talking about a bit of mold. Breathing was difficult. Its not ok to put customers in this room. See my last point below. The bed sheets were synthetic. If you like to sleep sweaty between plastic, this is your chance. The owner was more focused on making money than providing a perfect experience, like everyone else does in this amazing country.His vibe was off.

Great hotel!

We really liked the hotel, probably one of the best we stayed in Sri Lanka. Very nicely furnished rooms, clean, good bathroom. The location is also excellent, in a quiet place. The hotel staff is very kind and friendly, ready to help with everything.

I didn't like only two things. This is a large number of flies in the room and a very poor breakfast for your money.
