    Comfortable and nice room. Good location, the staff are very attentive. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious!
    My only drawback was the room only has a heater no ac or fan. I believe just adding the option of a pedestal fan would go a long way.

    The hotel was exceptional & the best out of our other 3 we have stayed in Sri Lanka. The room was large & everything that you could need with a large comfortable bed, a terrace overlooking a pretty garden & it was very clean with a large on suite. The food also was exceptional & we ate our dinner in the hotel for our 2 nights & the staff were very helpful. They arranged a tut tut driver for us who we spent the day with & he took us on a tour of the area. We would recommend him (tut tut safari- sorry cant remember his name) Overall it was a great place to stay with friendly staff & good food.

    Overall pleasant stay
    Very friendly staff - everybody is trying their best to make you feel comfortable. No shoes in the building. The interior of the villa takes you to a different time (in a good way) - a very distinct style with beautiful woodwork.
    To some extent the staff was overly attentive - when every meal 3-5 people ask you separately whether you like the food or not, it is a bit much; it made us feel observed. There were cigarette butts left in the astray on our balcony.

    Nothing in particular! But if I have to pick one then the property is old and hence the bathrooms are slightly smelly!
